An Author Doesn't Just Put Words on Paper

Being an author means so much more than just putting words onto paper. Being an author means to …

CONCEIVE ideas,

ORGANIZE thoughts,

RESEARCH facts,

CREATE pieces,

EDIT works,

SOLICIT publishers,

SELL manuscripts,

MARKET wares, and

MAINTAIN platforms.

So, if you were one who thought being an author was simply putting words onto paper, think again.

  1. So true! I agree there's so much more to it than just the words.

P.S. I sent you an email via your post on Verla Kay and totally missed that your blog was listed until I read it again!
